We are looking for an experienced physician or mid-level provider to join our growing Direct Primary Care practice. At BIM, our goal is to not only improve health outcomes, but to help patients achieve optimal health and wellness. Our providers assess patient health and well-being, order tests, and prescribe medications to manage a patient’s
care. We use evidence-based conventional medicines and integrative treatments/therapies to address both symptoms and the root cause of a disease. We are on a mission to change the healthcare system and how patients are treated.

As a provider, you will need to have heart centered and clear communication.  For the physician, this position is a leadership role, so we expect you to be an excellent teacher and mentor to our medical staff.  For the FNP or PA, you will be part of the team in providing compassionate primary care supporting true informed consent and medical
choice.  We are promoting an evidence-based integrative approach to healthcare.

Integrative Physician - MD/DO or PA/FNP

​Full time Position Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm at our Huntersville location. 

  • Flexible schedule options to support work-life balance to include either 5 days full-time in office, or a 4-day work week (28 hours dedicated to patients in office and 1 day per week remote for admin time)

  • Some light on-call duty​

 

Responsibilities with Clinical Care for Patients:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, routine checkups, diagnose and treat ailments, monitor treatment progress and follow up care.

  • Maintaining patient medical records using our practice management software (EMR).

  • Order diagnostic tests like ultrasounds and blood tests to aid in diagnosis. Interpret those test results and offer in-depth individualized patient consultations.

  • Authorize referrals to specialized medical practitioners in the case of complex conditions or when a specialist is needed.

  • Prescribe appropriate medications or treatments for common ailments like colds, cough, and flu.

  • Keep up with the latest trends on integrative, functional and alternative scientific research with regular meetings in person and supporting further education at integrative conferences.

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced practice and be highly organized.

  • Ability to treat full scope of direct primary care, including adult and pediatric
    patients

Responsibilities with our Health Care Team:

  • Promotes communication within the team and other interdisciplinary health care staff.

  • Acts as resource to members of the team.

  • Works with primary care team for program development.

  • Acts as liaison with outside agencies as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

  • MD/DO degree or Certified PA/FNP

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible with a valid medical license

  • 2 years experience with holistic/integrative medicine strongly preferred

  • Experience in bio-identical hormone therapy is a plus
